Since my mother is a teacher I've seen her teach a lot and it has always inspired me. She has taught me to be kind and understanding to students. And that there is no quick easy way to teach every student. Putting in the work and effort and encouraging them to be interested in what they're learning is the best way to teach someone.
I want to form a friendly and good relationship with the students to bring out the best in them. Having such a good relationship with my teachers has always made me want to learn more and have fun while learning. By creating a friendly and safe atmosphere I want to make the student feel comfortable enough to ask any questions they might have without hesitation. I've been told I'm good at explaining concepts basic or not. I like to provide examples to make it easier to understand something and make an interactive atmosphere.
Being a student myself I know the feeling of how satisfying it is when you finally understand a topic and I want to impart that to other people. I am currently doing my Kandidat in Chemistry at KU and as someone who's been learning chemistry and science in general intensively for the past 6 years, I know how hard it can be at times grasping a concept. But I find it to be a really fun and interesting subject and I want the student to feel the same. Teaching is something that I enjoy doing and want to pursue in the future.
I personally really like researching and playing computer games in my free time. I would describe myself as friendly and outgoing and I love to help when I can. Teaching is one of the noblest professions and I hope I can live up to it.
