Hi and welcome to my profile. My name is Nikolas.

I am an outgoing, approachable person that also knows when to be serious, keeping my patience and a focus on maintaining my amiability. I am someone that derives great pleasure in teaching and explaining what I am passionate about, finding delight in spreading the information to me given.

Coming from another country, I know how to adapt to different needs, while being patient and able to improvise on the spot while still keeping things structured enough to make it work well.

I thoroughly enjoy playing cooperative games with my friends, which ensures a good team working capability. Aside from that I also enjoy practicing sports, mainly martial arts, where I get to aim at better furthering my own abilities through consistent and motivated work. In tandem with the aforementioned, I am an aspiring writer which leads me to giving great care in the language I use for the specific situation, ensuring that I will be able to explain myself in many different ways while still keeping clarity.

As an educator I would like to not only get to know my students strengths and weaknesses but also to know my students way of learning and how I can teach them in the best way. I know that sometimes it can be hard to look eye to eye to teachers, and I believe that, as a student myself, I can relate to the problems found by others. Knowing this, I am willing to approach a problem through a multitude of ways, ensuring that I will take in consideration not how I understand the topics, but how my students will.

As a fellow student myself, I know the joy of learning. I believe that teaching has a similar, if not even greater, happiness associated with it. With this in mind, I believe that GoTutor is a good way to achieve such, allowing me to grow not only as a teacher by acquiring the know how, but also as a person by learning how to make others learn.
