Hi and welcome to my profile!

My name is Julia, and I am English and worked as a teacher of French and German in a boarding school in Wales, before coming to live in Denmark in December 1996.

Thereafter, I taught English for nearly twenty years at Cambridge Institute, Copenhagen, at all levels and in all specialisms, including Legal, Academic, Business and Technical.

More recently, I have taught both adults and children through my own language and translation business, as well as at various language schools, including International Communication and Topic.

I enjoy interacting with people of all ages, experience and backgrounds, and being able to pass on knowledge regarding my own particular interests in grammatical and literary analysis. I also find it satisfying to create a supportive learning environment in which young people can thrive and share my enthusiasms.

I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, writing and exercising. Fresh air, walking and meeting with new places are priorities for me, so an ambulatory job provides me with no problems!

I am looking forward to meeting my next GoTutor student!
